Traps debris and solid waste with the Preferred Replacement Filter Sponges. Instructions: Rinse foam monthly or as needed to retain biological activity. Rinse in aged aquarium water. Fluval Foam will deteriorate over time causing a collapse of the pore structure and rapid clogging. Replace foam alternately to maintain biological activity.
