This heat lamp from Exo Terra is designed to be a basking spot lamp. This Intense Basking Spot has a narrow light and heat spot beam output for deeper penetration. The UVA light contributes to the reptiles well being and also enhances animal colouration. The Intense Basking Spot has greater thermal concentration than other spot lamps. It’s easy to create exact basking spots in the terrarium by simply directing the heat and light in a certain direction for thermoregulation. This is increased by 75% and allows greater distances between the bulb and basking site. These Exo Terra Intense Basking Light can be combined with Night Glo or Heat Glo for a 24 hour cycle.
