Uses Albon Oral Suspension contains sulfadimethoxine as the active ingredient. This medication is a sulfonamide containing antibiotic used to treat coccidiosis and other bacterial infections in both cats and dogs. Cautions Albon Oral Suspension should not be used in animals with liver and kidney disease. Keep out of reach of children. How to use For oral use in dogs and cats. Keep plenty of water for your pet to drink. This medication should be given with food to avoid stomach upset. Administer this medication to your pet animal as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer’s packaging. Possible side effects Decreased appetite, vomiting, and loose stools are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
